Results from the Shoemaker Classic

Congratulations to the High School team as they represented the school with pride over the weekend.  This year there were 7 teams that competed: Northside, Amherst Co., Stuarts Draft, Parry McCluer, East Rockingham, Franlin Co. “B” and Rockbridge.  Each team was allowed to enter 2 wrestlers at each weight.  The Wildcats were narrowly defeated by perennial  Blue Ridge District power Northside by a single point.  To be sure, the boys are fired up for the district dual with Northside next month!
